Identity Theft Expert Offers Assistance To County
Harold Gipson of Cedartown spoke about the crime of identity theft to Floyd County Commissioners on Tuesday evening. Gipson, an identity theft risk assessment manager, said new laws are going into effect on Nov. 1, 2009, under the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA).
